Terms and conditionsOperon Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 03, 2026. These terms govern access to and use of Operon websites, workspaces, connectors, outputs, workflow automation, trials, subscriptions, and related services.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, activating a workspace, connecting an operational system, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Operon, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you use Operon on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not create a workspace or use Operon.
2. The Operon service
Operon provides AI-native operational infrastructure for workflow intake, document and message processing, structured extraction, validation, human review, audit visibility, and output delivery. Workspaces are configured around selected verticals, connectors, outputs, schemas, review rules, and provider settings.
Operon may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed for security, reliability, compliance, provider changes, or product development.
3. Accounts, authority, and workspace administration
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, managing team access, and ensuring that each person invited to a workspace is authorized to access the workspace data and connected systems.
You must have all rights, permissions, notices, and consents needed to submit data to Operon, connect third party systems, authorize OAuth flows, upload files, process workflow content, and deliver outputs to selected destinations.
4. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Operon may offer free trials, self-serve subscriptions, usage limits, and enterprise arrangements. Trial access may expire, convert, or be limited according to the plan shown at signup or in the billing interface. Paid subscriptions may require valid billing information and may be handled by a payment provider.
Fees, plan limits, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation rules are governed by the applicable checkout, order, invoice, or written agreement. Unless otherwise required by law or stated in a separate agreement, fees are non-refundable once charged.
5. Customer data and workflow responsibility
You retain responsibility for the files, messages, records, prompts, outputs, credentials, configuration, and other data that you or your connected systems submit to Operon. You are responsible for verifying workflow results, reviewing exceptions, maintaining backup copies where appropriate, and deciding whether an output is suitable for your operational use.
Operon may process customer data to provide the service, including extraction, classification, validation, review routing, analytics, diagnostics, support, security, and output delivery. Privacy practices are described in the Operon Privacy Policy.
6. Connectors, credentials, and third party services
Operon can connect to third party systems such as email, storage, spreadsheets, messaging, APIs, databases, CRM, ERP, ticketing, AI, OCR, payment, and analytics providers. You are responsible for ensuring that each connection is authorized, correctly configured, and permitted by the third party service's terms and your organization's policies.
Third party services are not controlled by Operon. Their availability, security, terms, permissions, rate limits, API behavior, and data handling may affect Operon workflows. Operon is not responsible for third party service outages, changes, errors, or actions outside Operon's control.
7. AI, OCR, and automated outputs
Operon may use AI, OCR, deterministic validation, rules, schemas, and automation to process workflow content. Automated extraction and recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a specific use without human review. You are responsible for configuring review thresholds and checking outputs before relying on them.
You must not use Operon as the sole basis for decisions that require professional judgment, legal compliance, regulated approvals, financial underwriting, medical decisions, employment decisions, or other high-impact determinations unless you have implemented appropriate human review and compliance controls.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Operon to violate law, infringe rights, bypass security controls, send malware, abuse APIs, overload infrastructure, scrape or exfiltrate data without permission, process data you are not authorized to process, interfere with other users, reverse engineer the service except where law prohibits this restriction, or use the service for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, harassment, or deceptive activity.
Operon may suspend or restrict access if use appears to create security, legal, operational, or policy risk.
9. Security and confidentiality
Operon uses safeguards designed to protect workspaces, credentials, and workflow data. You are responsible for using strong authentication, limiting team access, protecting credentials, keeping connected systems secure, and promptly notifying Operon of suspected unauthorized access.
Each party should protect non-public information received through the service with reasonable care and use it only for purposes permitted by these terms or a separate agreement.
10. Availability and support
Operon aims to provide reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, deployments, incidents, provider outages, network failures, customer configuration, force majeure events, or abuse prevention. Operon does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Support requests can be sent to support@operon.aionquartz.com.
11. Intellectual property
Operon and its software, interfaces, documentation, designs, workflows, templates, and service materials are owned by Operon or its licensors. Subject to these terms, Operon grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business operations during your authorized access period.
You retain rights to your customer data. You grant Operon the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, transform, and otherwise use customer data to provide and secure the service.
12. Termination
You may stop using Operon or cancel according to the applicable plan or agreement. Operon may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk, fail to pay fees, violate provider requirements, or use the service in a way that may harm Operon, users, third parties, or connected systems.
After termination, access to workspaces and connected workflows may stop. Operon may retain certain records as described in the Privacy Policy or as required for legal, billing, security, backup, or audit purposes.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or error-free performance. Operon does not warrant that automated extraction, validation, AI, OCR, connector polling, or output delivery will always be accurate, complete, timely, or suitable for your intended use.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operon's aggregate liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Operon for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no amounts were paid.
15. Changes to these terms
Operon may update these terms from time to time. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use of Operon after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms for later use of the service.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@operon.aionquartz.com.
